Helpfull staff - from the moment we entered. Overall a clean hotel. Things - shower, doorhandle, lightswitches, chairs, bed ... - you name it - it worked. Which is seldom at most hotels; there is always one little ridicolous flaw. The one flaw here : the wireless internet was crap, at least in our room (209). It was ON and... More

Stayed here in Dec 2014 because of location while visiting the Templehof area. It's got an ambiance that takes you back to it's days as a 'choco-fabrik' and has a airy/rough charm. Check-in is @ the bar, with a quick walk back to the rooms which are thankfully off-street and open to a quiet(er) courtyard of sorts. Our room overlooked... More

Stayed over New Years. Reception in a cafe on the street. Staff worked the cafe and the reception desk. Booked online through a standard hotel booking website. Room was not like the picture on the internet. Small room even for European standards. Room was supposed to have coffee service but did not. Upon requesting a coffee machine we got one.... More

We stayed in this hotel for one night. The room was friendly and clean. Matresses were good and the location was not noisy. The bathroom was huge (some hotels rent such a bathroom as a single bed room incl. bathroom). The breakfast is very good. You get there nearly everything you would like to have. The atmosphere in the restaurant... More

This hotel was recommended by a friend - we were in town for the marathon. The location was very good as it was right next to a subway stop (easy to get to from the airport and easy to get to the other sections of berlin). Room was quite spacious and nicely decorated. Service was also great. Price was probably... More

Quirky and unusual and totally Berlin. Come and stay - you will love it. Yummy breakfast and fantastic service. Every room is different and special. I can highly recommend this lovely place. Fantastic location and close to everything.

I spent 2 weeks in a single comfort room here and found it to be a very quiet location, yet central to everything. The English breakfast was outstanding and staff helpful and pleasant. A good choice for a family get together. Very close to the subway and good ethnic restaurants.

I stayed at the Hotel Sarotti-Hoefe from 30 May - 2 June 2013. The hotel was very clean as well as comfortable and the staff was friendly and helpful. I chose the comfort room and really enjoyed having a big room with French doors and my own patio at the rear of the hotel away from the main street. The... More

I stayed at this hotel for three nights while on mini vacation in Berlin. The hotel is easily reached by U-bahn, the subway station is 3 minutes on foot. The hotel is in a beautiful old building with lots of character, I think that is quite rare in Berlin. My room was small but quite adequate, the ensuite bathroom was... More

Excellent location in Kreutsberg. It is near the Flea Market which is on Bermannstrasse every Satrurday and worth a visit. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The food is excellent; the hotel sells its own brand of chocolate. (The hotel used to be a chocolate factory). The hotel is in walking distance of, e.g., Checkpoint Charlie and the Jewish Museum....
