I was a bit apprehensive about this hotel but had no major problems. The lady who I assume is the manager, Alexandra, was there to meet us when we arrived, and allocated us to our room-'Berlin'. The room was pleasant, clean , had two very comfortable beds. flat scren TV and shower room. It didn't have any wardrobes-which was a... More

This is not a hotel, but a collection of 4 or 5 tiny converted rooms on one ground floor within an apartment house, with a business model probably of just making a quick buck out of the booming Berlin tourist traffic. Rooms are quite new and clean, location fine (Charlottenburg, West Berlin city centre) with shopping, transport, bars and restaurants... More

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
