Awful, awful disgusting, even for 2 nights My husband booked this “Hotel” 3 starts because was closed to the Olympic Stadium, big mistake. This Hotel never can be 3 stars, hardly 2. The rooms are not well maintained, everything with scratches, the walls dirty, the sheets were full of hair from other guest, and the shower was the most disgusting... More

There has been no maintenance, the wardrobe door fell off when opened, kitchen rusted and unworkable, shower size approx 600 x 600 mm and too small, no bedside tables, linen almost transparent, no one in attendence outside of 8.00am and 11.00pm

This hotel is ideal for a cheap 1 night stop with an interesting location for reception-situated through a courtyard at rear -rooms then entered through another security door. Hotel is situated round corner from Mierendorffplatz U-Bahn station(U7 LINE) which gives quick access to Ku'damm area or Tegel airport. Room also has small kitchen if you want self catering-breakfast was 8.5... More

Stayed here from June 01, 2013 to June 03, 2013. This is a budget hotel. Room was spacious and was well-ventilated. There is vast scope for improvement in Wi-fi connectivity. Bathrooms are very small. If it were slightly bigger, it would have been much desirable. Breakfast was yummy. An ideal location for morning walk.

At first, i thought, that is was a hostel)) I can't say, that it was 3 - star hotel! In my opinion, 2 stars is it's maximum! Small, but clean rooms, very small bathroom, disgusting sheets and the thinnest pillow i've ever seen. But there is a kitchen in the room with some plates, etc. Located far from Gates (25-30... Location is in a quiet residential area between Tegel airport and centre with good bus and U-bahn links. Rooms are clean and comfortable with a kitchenette which was handy for doing breakfast. Supermarket across the road. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was quite hot at night. Good base for exploring the city.

We have just returned from Berlin staying for 5 nights in a 4 bed apartment at The Aparotel with our 3 teenage sons. It is budget & basic, a fridge, 2 rings for cooking, kettle & toaster, quiet at night & warm when it was -4 outside. A double bedroom & 2 singles pushed together in the living area. There... More

The wireless works only in the corridor, the room was hot and during night it was very noisy outside because there is a pub at the ground floor. I think it's probably more confortable in rooms with windows on the garden.

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighborhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighborhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theaters close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
