Fantastic place to stay for exploring Berlin. Good location to get into central Berlin. Lovely rooms, clean bathrooms, nice living area, breakfast included, which is all amazing for the tiny price you are paying. The staff are very friendly and helpful to foreigners.

Stayed here for four nights and enjoyed it. Had a private room and it was clean and was quiet. The hostel is a bit out of the main part of Berlin but its a 5 minute walk to the station and the train takes another 5 minutes to get to alexanderplatz. Only thing I didn't like about this hostel was... More

We arrived to a very friendly staff member. She told us our room wasn't ready yet due to a late check out but let us lock up our bags so we didn't have to lug them around town while we waited. Because we had arrived and were very jet lagged she told us we could sleep in the common room... More

We are staying here right now. 10 Euro for a dorm bed. Clean, friendly staff. Wash laundry for 2 Euro and dry for 2 Euro. Free coffee, tea and cereal all day. It is about a 10 Minute walk from the Metro. Free Computer use but wi-fi costs. That is my only complaint. Wi-fi should be free as everyone has... More

Not expensive, #1 pro Rooms are clean. Bathroom not the best/a little gross, but I've seen much worse. LOCATION: A few miles from the city center, but in a great area with restaurants and where you want to go out at night. This is great for young people because you can easily get downtown to sight see during the day... More

You really can't beat the price. The area was pretty hip and near the train station, so if your good at navigating metros in order to get to the site, you're golden. The bathrooms were kept clean and the rooms were nice. Nice helpful staff. Next time, I'd pay a little more to be closer to the city center, but... More

I stayed in Backpacker Berlin hostel for one week. First of all I should say that it is really a cheap place to stay, 10 euro/night or 15 during the weekend. The best about this hostel is the location, the picturesque Friedrichshain, with many small cafés and bars, only a few minutes by walking from S-bahn station Ostkreuz. From there... More

This hotel is very near Ostkreuz train station and also right by a tram station. There are some lovely restaurants and bars in the area, and also a number of good clothes shops! Our favourite place for breakfast was the russian cafe on the way into town. The hostel itself is a charming little place off the main road in... More

Small hostel located 10 mins away from the S-Bahn, in a nice neighbourhood (plenty of restaurants nearby). Free computer with internet, warm room, cheap washing machine, friendly environment, nice staff, clean bathrooms. No receptionist after midnight, no TV, and definetly not a party hostel. If you want to relax after those long walks through the beautiful Berlin, it's a nice... More
