Lovely hotel that seems fairly new with modern furnishings and friendly, helpful staff. A little bit further out than I realised when booking, but a quick walk to the nearest metro (which are very easy to navigate) and about a 25 minute walk into Tiergarten Park. My only small issue was that there was no mini bar/fridge in the room,... More

Getting to the hotel from Schönefeld airport was easy (get off at Kleistpark from U7). When we arrived the hotel staff were friendly and spoke great English. The room was perfect: comfy bed, fantastic walk in shower and well sound-proofed. When we asked for an extra pillow it was no hassle. The breakfast had a great spread of food and... More

We traveled to Berlin for a long weekend and stayed at the Lindemann's because our friend lives around the corner. Otherwise we would have booked somewhere more central. We had no breakfast which is really not necessary in Berlin where you can chose between so many great places. The hotel was clean, the room big enough and the wifi was... More

Thank you very much for your review. We are very happy you enjoyed your stay. Although the hotel is situated in Schöneberg it is very easy to get into the center by bus (direct in front of the hotel) or by metro or S-Bahn in a few walking minutes. So we hope to see you soon again?! We look forward... More

Good design, very friendly and ready to help staff. Always suggesting the forgotten things. Unique key lock. Good ambience and colourful designs in the room. The only negative thing is the drainage in the bathroom. Water slips out of the bath enclosure. Bathroom is tight a bit. Otherwise, quality room design.

Very modern, minimalist, stylish, clean rooms. The staff were excellent ,very keen to help and advise and spoke many languages. There is now wi-fi to all rooms and reception area free of charge. The hotel is slightly out of town in a very multi-cultural area, but easy access to underground stations and bus right outside.

Very neat and clean hotel with spacious rooms. Thought our rooms was facing the street, the room was very quiet! Near two tube stations. Good bikes to rent in the backyard. WiFi and breakfast for extra cost, which is understandable as the business idea is to sell budget rooms and then upsell. However we realized post booking that we could... More

Nice, helpful and friendly staff (speaking Spanish, Catalan, English, German, ...). Rooms are very comfortable and stylish, with nice bathroom. Breakfast is highly recommendable, with a good variety of products. This hotel is well connected (metro, bus and tram) to the most emblematic places in Berlin.

Nice staff that speaks english, hotel/hotel rooms are very neat and cosy. Beds are comfortable and the bathroom is stylish and roomy. There is no minibar nor room service. Breakfast is very good; croissants, cheeses, sausages (no bacon!), eggs, different fruits, mueslis and yoghurts, and all coffee drinks are included in the price which isn't too expensive. Bar/lounge is open... More

Staying in Schoneberg

Neighborhood Profile
Schoneberg
In 1963, Schöneberg was the center of the political west, inspiring John F. Kennedy to choose this area to famously announce, "Ich bin ein Berliner." Times may have changed, but modern-day Schöneberg still pays tribute to its historical legacies. Once the richest city outside of Berlin proper, the area's affluent past is still visible in ornate housing facades dating back to the Gründerzeit of the 19th century, while residents in fur coats walking their dogs or shopping in high-end KaDeWe continue the tradition with a modern flair. Schöneberg was also once the center of the decadent and burlesque nightlife of the 1920s. It was here that Marlene Dietrich partied with Christopher Isherwood and the first gay bar in Germany was founded. Today, the gay community still revolves around Nollendorfplatz. The overground Ubahn station is even illuminated in rainbow colors, paying tribute to Schöneberg's progressive past.
