“Nothing "golden" about this hotel without reception”

Yes, no reception and I mean it! We arrive and look for a reception, instead we find a board with our name written on it (along with the names of all guests who had booked) and the room allocation. They don't register guests, don't check documents and only accept cash payments. I don't think this is in line with hotel... More

The breakfast room and food was lovely, the room was comfortable however there were only net curtains up to the window and its easy for any neighboring houses to look in. The shower fixings were hanging away from the wall, which made it difficult to shower. The stairs are something else, they are so steep very difficult to master especially... More

I stayed in this Hotel with my wife and 2 teenage kids in September 07. We needed 2 rooms (not uncommon if you need 4 beds in Germany) and came by train. so the hotel was chosen on price and distance from station.
