The hotel serves a nice breakfast, the room has a good size and service staff is friendly and helpfull. Bathroom with a good size. Good shower. Not so close to downtown though, but OK if you have a car. Overall my experience was good.

Our room was huge, in a separate building. Nice room, nice staff, parking & breakfast, free wifi included. Room was pricey. Hotel was across the bridge from tourist area. Parking in wurzburg was almost impossible. Very busy city. Italian restaurant was good & friendly. The breakfast was good with a lot of fresh fruit. Do follow the hotel directions. The... More

This was farther out of the centre of Wurzburg than we'd realised, and at the time of our visit the access roads were being dug up. Friendly locals sorted us out, and we arrived at the historic building, once a fish farm. Sadly its restaurant was closed for its annual holidays - would have been helpful to know this in... More

I stopped off in Wuerzburg during a drive across Germany and picked the hotel based partly on previous reviews. The room was spacious and well furnished, and the breakfast was to a reasonable standard, but two issues marred my stay, which left me feeling the 65 euro price for B&B in a 3-star hotel was excessive. The first problem was... More

The rooms we had were very modern and very well equipped - as has been said before, the showers are great! We found this to be quite an expensive stay for what is basically a bed and breakfast hotel (the restaurant is obviously a third party concern operating out of the hotel) and to be honest the breakfast was not... This hotel is easily within ten minutes to the city center, and our experience here was first rate. The room we had was spacious and very modern, with a large bathroom and glass-walled shower with stone floor. The beds were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The entire staff we encountered was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is... More

Only one person mentions this below but it must be stressed because it has ruined our stay here: the church bells ring many times every day starting at 7am and go through until 10pm. They even ring for a short time every 15 min. It's summer, we have the window open, and we cannot sleep. I will not speak about... More

The hotel is a little difficult to find, but well worth it! The room was spacious, bright, and immaculately clean. And what a terrific shower! The breakfast is very comprehensive- everything you need to get you off to a good start in the morning - and beautifully presented in a lovely sunny room. We also ate dinner one night in... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Fischzucht from the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and helpful showing us a garage where we could park our motorbike. Our room was spacious and well appointed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was really nice with a great selection of loose teas and fresh fruit among the usual fare. The hotel is... More

The hotel is located about 3km away from the old town; therefore one needs to either have a car or take the tram to town. We stayed in the junior suite for only 1 night. The bathroom is huge with a nice shower stall and 2 wash basins. It is bright as there are plenty of windows. The room is... More
