I only stayed at Babelfish Hostel for one night but for the short time I was there I was very impressed! LOCATION: This hostel is amazing location wise! Across the road from Würzburg Hbf (Würzburg Central Train Station) and about a 10 minute walk into the heart of the "Altstadt" or Old City. There is also parking available around the... More

Top location near the train station, friendly staff that speak English well (not always found in Germany), nice & quiet (we stayed in a private room). Good internet connection in room. Expensive for a hostel considering you have to make your own bed & return your bedding to reception on departure but fairly clean.

We stayed here on a Tuesday night before flying back to the US in January 2014. The staff was friendly and our room was clean with useful, basic, amenities. We rented the apartment which has a private bath and a small kitchenette. There is a little dinning table and a small living area. It is quite roomy for a hostile.... More

i have stayed here about 3 or 4 times, and it is one of the nicer hostels that I have stayed in. I usually book a single room which is quite a spacious room with a large bed and bathroom. The hostel is right across from the train station which is great, but is a good distance from Fortress Marienberg.... More

It is a typical hostel. You will get bed sheets and pillowcase after you check-in because you have to set them up in your room by yourself and return them to the front desk when you check out. PROS: The front desk is helpful. Free wifi is stable and available in every room. But it does not have air conditioner.... More

As others have mentioned, it is across the street from the train station. Located in an updated building, Babelfish was a great choice for my group. As an unofficial hostel their were no membership fees. Rooms were big and clean. Large bathroom. Common areas and kitchen were welcoming. Staff very friendly. There can be some street noise if your room... More

The dorm rooms were big, had lockers, good kitchen, the front desk had heaps of information. Everything was in good clean condition (seemed fairly new) and very easy to reach from the train station. A couple of pubs around the corner and just down the road from the main town centre. Very friendly.

I stayed in this hostel only one night but I enjoyed it. It's very easy to reach: right in front of the train station. I was in a 10 bed dormitory, the bed was comfortable and the locker very useful. The bathroom and the toilet were clean. The hostel in general is very nice, quite, clean and kept in good... More

I would go back. Clean. Quiet. Good wifi connection. Had a private room. Warm. Big shared kitchen. Friendly. Good location right at the Hauptbahnhof. Could benefit from being a little less expensive though.

I stayed in the double ensuite room. The room was very large with a mini kitchen and our own balcony (although there wasnt really a view of anything). The bed was also extremely comfortable. The hostel's location is excellent, directly across the street from the train station and about a five minute walk from the center of town. It is... More
