Paid 99E a night, which was really good for all places visited in Germany. Finally a hotel with eggs and sausage for breakfast. The room/BR was clean and large. Good service. Overall, a rally good choice and good value. Free internet a plus. A bit far from the "action" in Wurzburg, but definitely worth the walk to everything. More

We were very pleasantly surprised by the Amberger - especially having read 2 fairly poor reviews. Yes it's a small hotel, the rooms aren't huge but it's clean, centrally located, perfectly adequate breakfast and a staff who we found were very friendly and very helpful. All that at a very reasonable rate!! Plus there's an excellent Italian restaurant next door!! More
