Wurzburg is not a big town so you can really easy to reach the attraction point by foot. We got a double room with a nice river view. This hotel has been completely renovated only a few months ago and there is still a pleasant, fresh and crisp feel to the entire place. My "Privilege"-room was very spacious, well designed and spotless clean. Stylish bathroom (unfortunately shower only, no bathtub). I visited Wurzburg in end of Jan 2013 and stay at Hotel Mecure for 5 nights. It is located near the old bridge in Wurzburg town. It is nice and more like a boutique hotel to me. You know what to expect from a Mercure Hotel. Everything works properly, staff friendly and helpful. Great for a short stay. The location is good, near the old bridge, the old town and the main attractions.
