We spent two nights here during Christmas vacation. The room was a bit small but warm with a comfortable bed. Overall an unassuming room. The advantage of this hotel lay in its location - inside the old city but in a quiet area - and breakfast. I really loved the breakfast. Wifi was also acceptable.

This is a very nice hotel inside the old city walls. Unfortunately, we were only able to spend one night but that was due to our time line not to the quality of our stay. It is in a quite section of the old town and not very big so you do not get the tour busses with 60-80 people.... More

Nice, small hotel, located in the center of Rothenburg, the staff is very friendly and the breakfast was great! Wifi worked badly. You can park on the street outside and it is not to expensive. Would reccomend to stay!

Very mixed feeling for the review since the staff (especially Claudia) is charming, super friendly and helpful and the hotel is in a great location. But the hotel is so-so. The rooms are OK and clean but bathroom is tiny, old towels and no soap or shampoo. We carried some heavy luggage and it wasn't easy to carry them 2... More

The staffs are very nice, stayed for one night only but they helped us to keep the luggage for free after checkout on the next day. We were in triple room and it is big enough for three of us and clean. The shower is faulty but its not a big issue. Excellent services and great location. Highly recommended!

This was a pleasant, quaint hotel. Small, intimate and very unique. The lady that runs the hotel is very nice and understands English with no problems. Her breakfast as far as European standards was excellent. The beds were very comfortable. It was clean and neat, also she sold us some cola light and gave us some glasses so we could... More

Nothing too fancy here but good basic clean accommodation. Close to center, quiet. Comfortable beds, friendly owners, wifi in lobby.

stayed here with motorbikes .the staff were very friendly and let us put the bikes in the garage at no charge. the room was ok but the breakfast was very nice and at a reasonable cost all in all the hotel is in a great position being in the centre of a great town.

We chose the Schwazer Adler based on the comments of the people and because it seemed we could park our car. The hotel has no garage, so if you don't find a place to park car on the street (which was our case), you'll have to leave it in a public parking and pay for it (and getting up earlier... More
