This is not a resort, it is a rather simple Gasthof with everything you would need. The family that runs it is very nice and the food is excellent (as well is the price). I would not stay anywhere else.

My wife and I stayed at the Gasthof zum Ochesen during the busy month of October 2012. The staff was helpful and friendly, the room was spotless and their restaurant was wonderful. Our room was suitably comfortable, but the highlight of this place is the food and location. It was a four block walk to the main square where the Kriskindl Markts were set up, but be prepared for about a 15-20 minute walk from the main train station to get there. Breakfast was filling, but it was the dinners that really... More

Very basic but well updated rooms -- no artwork, plain color palette, new furnishings, remodeled shower/WC. Quiet location, comfortable bed. Breakfast was decent, service was friendly, but average. Parking spot made available for us, which was really nice. For some reason, the stairwell didn't smell the best, but the hallways and rooms were just fine. Excellent value -- located within... More
