This hotel was great. The staff, rooms, restaurant, food - all great. They recommend places and things to do. You can't go wrong. The rooms where impeccable. The hotel was very cool inside and impressive. Its right in the middle of town so every thing is close. Right around the corner is the restaurant called 'Hell' which you should go.

This guest house is situated perfectly. Rothenburg is a wonderful place to spend a couple of nights and walk the village. The hotel is close enough to the city center, but very close to the castle garden - which is lovely. The staff (specifically Erika) is friendly and very accommodating. The included breakfast was perfect. Overall this was a wonderful... More

We loved this place. Rothenburg surprised us with its charms. We expected to enjoy it but it felt more authentic than we had imagined. The hotel accommodated an early check-in for us and an early check out. The rooms we stayed in were large and plenty comfortable, even if the shower was a bit small. We found nothing amiss and... Klosterstueble is not located in the center of the city, but closer to the castle garden area. This actually turns out to be a lovely location, away from the crowds but still very close to the town square. All of our encounters with the employees were very positive, everyone very helpful and friendly. The room we had was on the... More

We were looking for a place to break the journey back from Austria and settled on Rothenburg as somewhere we could stay a few days and make an event of it, extremely glad we did! if I remember rightly there was not availability on the booking site we used but I contacted the hotel direct, and when I said we... We had our room on the second floor. The room was ok, considering the money we paid. However, as the building is so old , I could the loud squeaking sound when someone was walking. It was very annoying, especially for a light sleeper like me. The breakfast was just ok for extra 7.5 euro per person.

My wife and I were travelling around Germany and decided to stay in Rothenburg for 3 nights. We chose the Hotel Klosterstueble because of the comments on Trip Advisor. Although the hotel is rated three star by the tourist authority, the owners/staff deserve a higher rating. Our room was on the second floor of the old part of the hotel.... More

We stayed overnight at the Hotel Klosterstüble and were very impressed. We had a double and a single room in the old part of the hotel and they were very comfortable for an overnight stay. It was really convenient for a short walk into the old town and parking was made easy by the owner who helped us find a... More

This was my third trip to Rothenburg ob der Tauber and I have to say this was a great find for a hotel. The room was extremely spacious, quiet and comfortable. Worth more than we paid and you don't often say that for a trip to Deutschland! It is just off the town square area within walking distance of everything... More

This was a great hotel. We had a "suite" which had the kids in bunk beds in a different room from us. The breakfast was very nice with a good selection and fresh food from the kitchen made-to-order, such as eggs. The staff was very friendly, including helping us find a parking space on the crowded street. Our room had... More
