The hotel is on a narrow street, is old, is small, and has steep staircases. It’s the perfect complement to your Rothenburg experience. The rooms all are in a different configuration and comfortable. Nice hotel - about 20 minute brisk walk from the train station. Room was very big with 2 double beds and was clean. We had a nice welcoming platter of sweets when we arrived for Christmas. Excellent Service, Breakfast and location. Very Charming building with stone walls and vaults. Rooms on the other hand are plain and simple with wood frame beds. Lack of elevator and narrow whirling wood stairs make it challanging to carry luggage upstairs. In sum, good hotel to discover the city. More
