This is a very well-run, clean, and friendly B and B. Easy walking distance to the town of Rothenburg, with lots of good advice from Karin. She puts on a remarkable spread for breakfast, very attentive and generous, and seems to have boundless energy. Many thanks for the wonderful hospitality.

I really wish I had known that this was a smoker's house. NONE of the reviews mention this. If you are sensitive to smoke you will notice it. We arrived here after a red-eye flight from the US and I was starting to feel under the weather so the smell of smoke didn't help my throat. I could tell from... More

We drove to Karin's in a rental vehicle and they had a free parking for us. Also allowed us to check in early with great tips for the city. The room and attached bathroom was very spacious and comfortable. The best part was the breakfast, extremely good with lots of options. Karin herself is also very friendly and helpful.

Karin was friendly and gave us advice for a great night at the English Speaking club at a local restaurant, The Altfrankische Weinstube am Klosterhof, where we met residents who have been a part of the club for 30 years. Breakfast at Haus-Karin was plentiful and Karin made sure we were all happy before we left. The b&b is a... More

As we pulled up in front of the house Karin was already there to greet us and show us where to park. The house is a 5 min walk to the city walls. We had a large room and I found the bed to be comfortable. The included breakfast was great. For the price, this was one of the better... More

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights during a train trip around Germany, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We were picked up and taken back to the train station, and the location is perfect. It's on a nice, quiet street but only a few minutes away from the old city. We stayed at several small pensions during our... More

I can only echo what everyone else has said about this place. A great welcome from the minute we turned up, including providing guide books in our language . It's in a perfect location - a quiet residential neighbourhood, in easy walking distance of the walled city and all its attraction. Although the decor is 70s, everything is comfortable and... More

We can't imagine that there would be a better place to stay in Rothenburg; Hans and Karin are amazing hosts. Our room was large with a comfortable seating area. Breakfast was excellent. Karin provided us with detailed instructions of the short walk to city center and advice on which restaurants to patronize. She even supplies beer and H2O for her... More

My husband and I got to stay with Hans and Karen recently. It was our first night in Germany and they made us feel like we were coming home. The rooms were perfect and clean and the breakfast in the morning was wonderful. They provided beer and water for us and delicious chocolate on our bed : ) Karen was... More

We have stayed with Karin before. They are so welcoming and helpful. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast is the best in Germany. The rates are very reasonable, and she offers water and beer for your taking. Karin made reservations at our favorite restaurant in the old city as we requested. Herr Weiss will take and pick you up... More
