This is a really nice hotel within the walls of Rothenburg. The room was nice and the beds were comfortable. There was no info in the room re breakfast etc which was a little weird. The rooms were pretty warm as there was no airco. Opening the windows was not a good idea as there were a lot of wasps!... more

I stayed here September 2005 and had a great stay. There were three of us and our room was very spacious and very comfortable. Great location - right in the heart of the old town and easy access if you wish to walk the wall. Would highly recommend this hotel. more

Location is great but this hotel is wildly over-priced. The exterior is fine and the views from the rooms are nice but the interior is run-down, threadbare and shabby. Everything reeks of stale cigarette smoke. Beds are lumpy and small and don't have sufficent blankets for winter sleeping. While polite, the staff is unresponsive to problems.
