This is the second time we stayed here and love the atmosphere of the traditional hotel. It is located in the centre of the town and right next to the Christmas market. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a number of garages available on request. The meals and service in the dining room were excellent. Also... More

This is an oldy worldy hotel from the outside. It is under preservation order so the exterior cannot be changed. It has a nice litle beer garden that you can reach from the hotel back door. This garden in the Advent is changed into a christmas market. With mulled wine and even a beamer to show old typical german christmas... More

Upon check in we were notified we were not in the main building but in the Annex behind the main Hotel. Completely look and feel from the Main Hotel and the ceilings are low and have very few windows which make the rooms dark. We also selected the Parking option through Booking.com for $12euro only to find out there is... More

My wife and I stayed here for one night whilst travelling the "Romantic Route". Had our itinerary not been set by the pre-booked hotels en route we would have happily stayed a further night or two. The hotel is, apparently, part of the Flair Hotel Group. This may be a centrally managed group but there is no evidence of that... More

Wonderful stay in this hotel! The rooms were beautiful, clean, and much more roomy than most european rooms. You cannot get a better location - only about a 1 minute walk from the hotel front door to the town center (This is where the Night Watchman's Tour meets if you want to see that!). This is an old fashioned hotel,... More

This hotel was pretty nice. We stayed in the Annex portion of the hotel. Our room was pretty spacious. We got the wifi for the room as well but it was hit or miss most of the time and only 1 device can be connected at a time. This is a pain when you have 2 people in the room... More

We were in room 116 and were just blown away by the beauty of the room and how clean and roomy it was. The restaurant, although pricey, was really good! The breakfast buffet was impressive as well. Lots of variety and hot items (the mini pancakes were wonderful!). The hotel is located close to the center plaza and free wifi... More

This was a brilliant location to discover Rothenberg. Our room was excellent - couldn't be faulted. However, no free WiFi in our room was a disappointment. Breakfast was acceptable at €11 per head. We booked through Booking.com many months ahead and received a quoted figure for our pre-determined stay. When paying, a different amount was stated because of the "weekend"... More

Service at check in and check out is abrupt and rude. Not fun to be barked at upon arrival or when you leave. The staff were like that with everyone, just not a happy bunch. The hotel has lots of character, rooms are clean and location cannot be beat. The gentleman who assisted my husband to the hotel parking was... More
