Although conveniently located inside the city wall, this is just a so-so hotel. The rooms are quite plain, although roomy, with a sort of rustic feel owing to their light wood and pine decor. A fine, picture-esque place to stay within the city walls. We had two rooms overlooking the square out front and the adjacent village walls. Quite comoftable accomodations in an outstanding location; we would rebook here again if we return to the area. more

It's an excellent hotel built in the traditional style of the area and located in a small square just inside the wall that encircles the old town , and 5 minutes walk to it's centre . This is a charming, pleasant guesthouse and an overall good value for your money. We paid 87 Euros per night for a double room. The room is comfortable, American-sized and simply decorated. Perfect location for mobility on foot in Rothenburg. Rooms were lovely, very clean and modern. Breakfast was very plentiful, and dinner in the restaurant both nights excellent. I had the venison the second night and it was supurb. The friendly conversation by the family was enjoyable and the English perfect. Made our struggles in language much easier.
