We did not know that JUFA means "youth and family", and at the age of 55 we are definitely not looking for family places. So we were worried when we checked in, but there was absolutely no reason to be. Yes, the furniture is simpel and robust, so it withstands rough handling, but interior design was not the reason for... More

A clean, roomy and fine youths Hotel just outside the city( old) walls. We managed easily to know the city by foot from the Hotel( 300m ). A good breakfast, a little messy for there were children, many of them! Affordable , free wi fi and a nice and cheap italian restaurant just in front of reception!

The JUFA hotel was described as a family hotel but the experience of staying was more akin to a school hostel. When we booked in, the foyer was overrun with screaming children, we should have found somewhere else to stay. The screaming and shouting continued until 02:30, there were no staff or school representatives in charge. The noise awoke us... More

A modern hotel geared towards families, but equally good for couples. Rooms are large with bathroom and separate toilet - a good idea. Lots of storage along with dining table and chairs and separate desk and chair. We also had a balcony with table and chairs. The furniture is light wood and very new. Pity they did not provide fridge... More

Good hotel for family, has big garden for kids to play , play room for kids. When we stayed , there a lot of family (with small kids). Staff are all helpful , speak good English. This hotel is located outside of castle wall , however it takes only 7-8minutes to walk to center of city.

We stayed here right before Christmas with a group of 11. We all had very comfortable rooms that were very clean. The woman greeting us was incredibly kind, helpful and patient. The playroom is fabulous--just a nice way for kids to spend time while we are checking in, checking out, settling into rooms, etc. The breakfast was incredibly nice and... More

The day of my arrival I was getting late because of a missed train connection, so I got a phone call indicating that I'd have a key after typing a code. The code was ok but there was any key at all (a joke?). The rest: call security service (after typing three wrong numbers), wait, look for the my assigned... More

I was unaware when I booked this hotel that JUFA is an organisation geared to family and young people. However the receptionist though a bit mechanical checked us in and gave us a map and directions. We had a large room with an entrance corridor with a separate loo and shower. We had a balcony looking out on the playing... More

JUFA Nördlingen was a great option for accommodation. It's situated just outside the town wall, so a couple of minutes walk and you're into the old town. Breakfast was good with plenty of options. There was a giant chess set and some play equipment outside for the kids. There was a bar with well priced drinks in the reception area.... More

Located just outside the old town walls this is an excellent option for backpackers or families. Rooms are well appointed and quiet, staff are helpful and the breakfasts good. A good option for school groups. There were two groups when I stayed. The kids were cool - No bother. Nordlingen has a few sites to cover but really only a... More
