Stayed 2 nights in a very pleasant room with small balcony overlooking the lake. Used their restaurant both nights and each time had an enjoyable meal. Their is a garage behind the hotel for guest use although it can fill up quickly. Fortunately there is also street parking available. Hopfen is a lovely little place - very relaxed and close... more

Difficult to add to the excellent reviews already given, both with very good photos of the hotel and its views from the balconies. It is wonderful value compared to the hotel prices in Fussen, and the rooms and apartments are bright and modern. It is about 3 miles from Fussen so you do need your own transport, but Hopfen is... more

I stayed here with my husband for a few days in Oct 06 so we could do some hiking and exploring of the area. The location is great; although you aren’t in downtown Fussen, the Hopf am See area is really charming. We stayed in one of the apartments. It was very roomy, nicely furnished, and had a fabulous view... more
