This was a lovely building set in large grounds, more than just a garden. I had my dog with me during the stay and he enjoyed roaming around the woods section, the lawn and the garden. We stayed two nights and I wish it could have been longer. I am already considering a return trip next year to see more... More

Like other reviewers, we took a chance and booked despite no reviews to go by. We were not disappointed. It is a very nice building on a beautiful property. It has only been open for one month, and it really is a Villa. Former Nuns retreat, still owned by the nuns, this Villa is built on a large parcel of gardens and parks. We booked our room before Villa Toscana was even open. Glad we took the chance without traveller feedback. Lovely place, CLOSE to Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangua Castle, and just 3 minutes from old town Fussen. My wife and I stayed at this cozy villa from April 18 - 20 and enjoyed the fact that it is a beautiful hotel about 10 - 15 minutes walking distance from the old town of Füssen. Travelers to Füssen should keep in mind that this can be a very busy city in the high season when everyone comes here... More
