The hotel locates near the city center where you can enjoy shopping, eating and drinking. Perfect location if you plan to visit the castles as transport is convenient. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Food in the hotel restaurant is above average with reasonable price. Quiet at night for a good sleep though the hotel faces the street.

The room was clean, but the bathrooms are old and dated. They do have some rooms with updated bathrooms. No air conditioning. Most rooms face the street, and there's no privacy so you cannot leave the curtains open at night. The hotel is close to the city center with lots of restaurants and public transportation to the castle.

So the pluses, and mostly all I have are pluses for this hotel, is 1) great front desk staff which told us where and how to catch the bus to the Castles; 2) the parking is easy and connected to the hotel; 3) the room was large, clean and we had a great view of the Old City; 4) the... More

This was the first hotel on a two week tour. What a great start. Rooms were big and clean and bathrooms were luxurious. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful getting us to where we needed to be. The breakfasts were unbelievable buffets that were beautiful and tasty. A special shoutout for outstanding service and fun conversation at breakfast by... More

Okay, to be honest I didn't stay here...but I tried! We got into town extremely late and another hotel didn't have our reservation so we were without a place. Even though the Luitpoldpark Hotel was full, their overnight employee helped us tremendously by calling other hotels and telling us where to get a taxi. Major thanks to that man!

Business/leisure trip combined in Fussen and this hotel served me well. Its close to all areas in Fussen and works really nicely if you need to work out in fitness center or want to relax in sauna. Hotel is a little bit of maze, turns and levels are sometimes hard to figure out. Breakfast was really nice, worth of money!... More

and that's about all that distinguishes this place. I found reception friendly and helpful regarding a bus timetable in my hands before I'd mentioned it for the castles plus a free public transport card for the vicinity. The lifts, I agree with others are slow and inadequate, far better to use the stairs which follow a pretty convoluted but far... More

I think this place would have been 4 starts if we were not in Fussen while they were having 100F deg weather. They do not have air-conditioning. The internet also didn't work. The reimbursed us the $15 we spent for it and we used the lobby computer. The hotel was otherwise okay. Good location, decent rooms, nice lobby.

A very large room but without mini-bar or fridge is just not acceptable anymore in a 4-star hotel. The practice to block the lifts for the luggage transport of the hundreds of Asian tourists which overnight in the same hotel is also not acceptable and is a slap against full-paying guests. The guests would also deserve a more smiling attitude... More

The hotel is very close to the boardwalk and the main activities of Füssen. Is a great hotel for those who want to visit the castles of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau, but there's no air-conditioning and wifi costs 5 euros per 24h. The rooms are large and beautiful and the buffet breakfast is good.
