My wife and I booked a one night stay here prior to tour of Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles. These are about a 15 minute drive away, so location is perfect. Hotel Bergruth is west of Fussen set above a small lake, so it is very peaceful and quiet. Staff, especially Angela (an owner) can speak acceptable English and help guests... more

We stayed at this hotel 1 night in mid-October, as part of our 10 night trip to Europe. It was by far one of my favorite hotels of the entire trip.
