We stayed just one night at Weisses Ross in Dinkelsbühl on our regular trip from Hasselt-Belgium to Vienna-Austria. We took this hotel because of its low price, while still having a fair score on Tripadvisor. We were not disappointed: for just 78Euro we had a double room inclusive breakfast. The room was quite large, with a nice bathroom. Reception was... More

Dinkelsbuhl is a wonderful little town, especially around Christmas. I was expecting all the comfort and warmth of a Bavarian Christmas, and the hotel was exactly what I had hoped for. First I should clarify we stayed at the guest house, which is technically part of the hotel but is the building across the alley. This was great as it... More

We just returned from 2 weeks in Germany, visiting the Christmas markets and enjoying the Christmas spirit, German-style. We had several nights where we hadn't booked a room in advance, since we wanted to be free to go wherever the spirit took us. We had lunch in Dinkelsbulh on one day, and found it so charming that we decided several... More

Great location in this very special little town. Dinkelsbuhl is not only fun to say, but fun place to be. Not lots of tourists, just the real people who live there. Hotel and owner Anka (?) very welcoming and English was very helpful. Dinner at the hotel was excellent and the breakfast spread provided everything we could wish for. Our... More

We stayed in the building over the road from the hotel reception. All very quaint. Great location as more or less no cars but parking just by the hotel - set on a pretty tree lined square. The room was a good size and nicely decorated. Curtains could have been better as they didn't close properly (not wide enough). Beds... More

We were right across the tiny street from some of the rooms in the inn and the breakfast, but no problem. We had a very quaint room in a lovely building with a full bed and a twin bed with high sides with pillows we used as a sofa! Very comfortable and a very nice bathroom. The male proprietor spoke... I love the old-fashioned hotels in Germany. While I stay for business purposes in mostly four and five star business hotels that are exceedingly comfortable, they lack character and are forgettable almost as soon as I move on. The Weisses Ross in the medieval and colorful little town of Dinkelsbühl is the opposite. It oozes charm. The owner is present... More

We stayed in Dinkelbuhl and the Wiesses Ross at the end of June 2013, we booked a triple room hoping for the converted attic that can sleep more than two and provide a little more space. We were provided another room on the ground level of the building adjacent to the main house/restaurant. Even though we did not get the... More

Stayed for a night with friends. It is conveniently located and staff are very helpful, courteous and friendly. Room was big enough and amenities were available. It was wonderful staying there. Will surely stay there again when in Dinklesbuhn.
