Located adjacent to Regensburg Cathedral the exterior view of the hotel presents an old world charm. Step in and you will be warmly welcomed in the small reception area stocked with complementary apples. The moment you enter the room you will be surprised to see a very modern room in a hotel which looked old-fashioned from outside. The junior suite... More

I stayed for two nights at Hotel Bischofshof am Dom. I had a double room (218-this room does not have a view) and it was one of the nicest and most efficient rooms I have ever stayed in. All the decor was done in blues and even the tile work in the bathroom was done expertly (I know, a funny... More

Had a short break to see in the New Year in this fabulous hotel. Staff were so friendly and even though I speak no German, I was able to enjoy the break as almost all the staff spoke pretty good English. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We actually found this hotel by accident because the one we went to first had no vacancies and the clerk was extremely rude. We were so fortunate that a guest overheard our conversation and recommended Bischoff's. From the time we walked into the hotel, we were treated like royalty. Michael, at the front desk, was so cordial and spoke English... More

Back after some time, I got a double in the dependance building ( after my visit in the room I decided to leave the house : 175 E/night (!!), no lift, very old furniture, dirty, far away from the quality "hotel room ) but , a young guy at the reception after he try to convince me abot the horror... We were on a cycling trip and arrived with no prior reservations and looked for somewhere to stay. This looked great being situated in a charming old courtyard. And it was great. Lavishly decorated rooms. Character. Our room looked onto back of cathedral. Sumptuous breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. No lift in our wing. Underground garage where we left... More

We did not have prior reservations and were looking for a place in Regensburg. We found this hotel in a guide book and what a find. It was one of the best hotels in our tour of Germany. It is right across form the historic cathdedral. The rooms and staff were great and the outdoor dinning was great.

Brilliant location in the centre of Regensburg, close to good shops and good restaurants, with a really nice courtyard in which to sample the beers or eat out, or people watch. But what makes this hotel a notch better than most is the friendliness and "can do" attitude of the staff. Great place to stay

I stayed here for 3 days and the location is just amazing! It is in walking distance of the Dome of Regensburg and the staff was just amazing! Unfortunately I arrived when Germany was playing in the world cup and all the roads were cut off due to the celebrations going on. I was quite frustrated when I arrived at... More

We stayed here for two nights in order to explore the town (should have stayed longer) and the central location was just perfect and they even had parking for our car. The courtyard is a delight to have supper in on a warm evening! Our room was nice and spacious and the breakfast was excellent. It is a family owned... More
