We selected this B&B based on reviews on here and the fact it had a restaurant and bar attached. Unfortunately we arrived over the school holidays in September and the owners were not present so the restaurant was not open. Also instructions concerning checking in were written in German, which made it difficult. Other than those issues, the room was... More

You need a car to stay at the B&B. I felt the emphasis was more on the restaurant then the B&B. It has a high end steak restaurant on the first floor and small beer garden in the back. This was not in use when we were there in June 2013, as weather was on cool side. Rooms are small.... More

Stopped here for two nights to take in zoo (A MUST SEE!!) and the Nazi rally grounds (ANOTHER MUST SEE)..rooms very quaint, comfortable beds, breakfast was wonderful, didn't partake in the dinner they had in the beer garden because too expensive (25 euro for one plate) and they were serving cow cheeks(???!!*) but just brought down our own beer and... Post war (Most places are in Nurnberg!),a quiet hotel that is tastefully decorated with light, clean airy rooms. What also makes this place is the excellent German BBQ type restaurant which has a good selection of well cooked foods along with a stock of excellent German red wine. Staff are also excellent, and the place is not over priced. We went... More

Charming B & B in a semi-commercial area about a ten minute drive from the Old Town. The rooms were clean and comfortable, with private bath & flat-screen TVs. Friendly, helpful innkeepers. Plentiful breakfast buffet. Off-street parking. But the best thing was a lovely beer garden out back that was great for relaxing after a day of sight-seeing. And a... More

We stayed for two nights while doing a Christmas Market tour. We had a triple room. The room was small, but we anticipated it to be based on prior European travels. Beds are comfortable with good pillows and blankets. Internet service is available and free. There is no lift or elevator, but I found the stairs easy to navigate even... More
