I stayed at this hotel during the first weekend of december and it happened to be Saint Nicholas Day and the morning we found chocolates and a letter for us outside our door. It was super nice! Excellent cleanliness, services and staff. The price was also really good, and the breakfast more than satisfying. If I will ever visit Nürnberg... More

This hotel is a little out of the city center and in a more residential area. It wasn't a problem for us as the U Bahn stop Maximillianstrasse is a 5 min walk from the hotel and then it is a 7 min ride into old town. The room was a little oddly shaped (at first we couldn't open the... More

We were in a 2-story room on the 5th floor. Elevator only goes to 4th level though this was not an issue for us. The room was dated (especially the bathroom), but clean, comfortable and quiet. The shower was under the roof, so it was a bit impractical. Staff was extremely friendly. Breakfast was good. Location is great if you... More

I absolutely adored this hotel. It was very cozy and welcoming. The owners are very nice and provided me with a lot of details that I needed for my walks. I was there for St. Nicholas and I opened the door in the morning to some chocolates and a very nice card. The breakfast is good, with quite a few... More

This would have been a 5 star review if only we wouldn't had the unusual experience of getting the entire amount blocked on our card, two weeks ahead of our check-in. The policy of the reservation said "No deposit needed" so their action was unexpected, regardless of the busy period. That being said, this hotel is very nice. The owners... More

I stayed at this hotel for a day trip to Rothenburg ob der tauber. The hotel is locateed near to a Maximilianstrasse U-bahn station (5 min walk, that station dont have escalator so be prepared if you have a lot of luggages), but still quite far away from the city centre or Hbf. This is a family owned hotel. Breakfast... More

Positives - owner/managers are nice people; short walk to Palace of Justice and famous court room; short walk to Maximilianstrasse subway stop Neutrals - breakfast is standard but room is cramped with even a small number of people in it; rooms are-OK, big but ours was narrow - they tried to stick us with the 5th floor room but elevator... We are a family of four from Australia with two teenage children and have travelled around Europe for five weeks. This was our last night in Germany before heading home. We stayed in a family room and had lots of other hotels to compare it with! The size of the room was generous, the bathroom small (that is normal for... More

From the moment we booked they have been friendly, warm and inviting. It's not a luxury hotel but it is clean! My parents and husband shared a room and this place fit our budget. They were an 8 minute walk from the U line. We went to town frequently with no problem...there was a festival too. Breakfast was simple, fresh... More

We traveled to Nuremberg from Munich (a hour by train). This hotel is situated about a 2 minute walk from the Maxilimillien Strasse U Bahn station, which is only a further 6 minutes from the Alt Stadt. As a further bonus the Nuremberg Trials court house is only 700 yards away from the hotel, and the hotel is opposite a... More
