This hotel we found to be very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Only downside is there can be street noise as hotel is located near a busy street. There are plenty of places to eat and a shopping mall is right across the road all within easy walking distance. Parking is right outside the front door and there... More

We passed through Germany and decided 1,5h before reaching Nurnberg to stay in this city. A quick search and booking later we had a nice family room booked. The room was big and tidy and the staff were all very friendly and polite. We were lucky to find this gem on our way to Croatia!

We recently returned from a European driving trip and had the pleasure of staying at the family owned Hotel Hamburg in Nuremberg. While not a new and fancy hotel, the owners were fantastically welcoming and friendly. We were a group of five, one of whom uses a scooter wheel chair. Our husband/wife hosts could not have been more helpful or... More

During a driving trip through Europe with 5 Family & Friends (all seniors), we spent the afternoon and evening at the Hotel Hamburg. This family owned hotel has everything a traveler wants: The husband/wife team were nothing but short of perfect. Our wish was their command. I was traveling with a motorized scooter because of a disability and they made... More

All of the employees at this hotel were very helpful. It is a beautiful hotel, and it looks just like the pictures on their website. It is located down the street from the courtroom where the Nuremberg trials took place. The owner speaks perfect English. There is also a hotel cat who runs around waiting to be pet. And, of... More

This Hotel is really good value for money and the location is also good, close to U-ban and also possible to walk to the center. Shopping center just across the road, and also a very Chinese restaurant there as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful, check in was no problem, Breakfast buffet excellent. We would certainly use this... More

Given the reviews on TA, I thought I'd actually have a preamble for my review Caveats: I'm not a big fat American; I've travel before to many countries and I've done budget as well as luxury. And I'm not an a jerk. The service was really nice and the staff tries hard. But this place is like East German dated.... More

This is rediculous. When you checked out you were all satisfied and told us that everything was perfect and you will recommend our hotel to your friends. You booked 2 standard double rooms for 2 nights and you arrived with 2 adults and 2 children. We gave you an upgrade to a superior double room, so you could be together... More

It is a small lovely hotel with new nice comfortable and clean rooms. The stuff is friendly and helpful, beyond any expectation. The location is very good: next to U-ban station "Maximilianstrasse", and also you can get to the center by foot in 20-25 minutes. And it is located just 7-10 min. from the building of "The Nuremberg Trials". Some... More

It was a 20 euro taxi fare from the airport and we found it to be well located but slightly outside the old town. However, the tube was a five minute walk and the tube journey to town was under 10 minutes. The staff and owners were very friendly and hospitable and extremely helpful. Rooms were a bit basic but...
