The Holiday Inn in Nuremberg is a very nice and comfortable hotel. It is located near the ancient wall, so walking to Kaiserburg takes about 20 minutes. I had booked the hotel via their website: the price offered for a double seemed OK. However when checking out, I was asked to pay by more than 1 third more - "for the second person" in double room. Location is next to a red light district, it's true. But you can bypass it by going left instead of right out the door of the hotel, so it's not like you're stuck. You have to walk a block or so to the right to even notice it. Plus, it's not like there are drunk imbeciles streaking through the streets...it's... more

we stayed at this hotel for one night on the way to Europe Park. the location is "interesting"- in the old city center, close to all the ancient attractions- but in a kind of red windows area. the hotel itself- clean, nice stuff, good ammenities, good breakfest- we really enjoyed the staying. more

One of the reasons we chose to stay in this hotel is the availability of parking underneath. It is also centrally located, the main city plaza is a couple of blocks away. The room was relatively comfortable, staff service was okay, and the room was Internet ready. You can relax in the sauna or the swimming pool as well. more
