Ibis owns two hotels very close together. When I asked for assistance, I was sent to the wrong one. There is signage which sends you to the other hotel. When we finally found the hotel is was like a "how did we miss it" moment but initially was very confusing. The hotel overall was nice and neat. Helpful. Right in... More

We stayed here for 4 nights during our road trip through central Europe, and while the location is good the hotel itself is not overwhelming. The hotel does not have its own parking, which I was lead to believe while booking it (through trivago), they do however offer a reduction of price in a nearby parking garage. Our room was... More

It is an Ibis so it was about what we expected it to be, although there wasn't anyone on the front desk when we came in meaning a bit of a wait. But it is really accessible - two mins walk from the main train station about 10-15 from the centre of the old town and less from a large... More

We stayed here just one night on our way from Frankfurt to Prague. GREAT location. Easy walk from the train station (ridiculously easy...look for the underpass!), easy walk to the Christmas market. Good staff that told us how to take the tram to the documentation center to see the Nazi buildings. GREAT breakfast. Clean, comfortable rooms. Highly recommend. Just needed... More

Had to rent a room at the end of our Danube cruise for one night until our apartment was ready. This, unfortunately was the hotel we picked. Ibis Nuremburg Altstadt was the most vile, overpriced, despicable hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. Despite its non-smoking signs everywhere, it reeked of cigarettes. There was a whopping one... More

The title sums it up. But I'll fill in some blanks. The hotel can be reached by taking a tunnel under Bahnhofplatz that starts on the lower level of the Bahnhof - so that's very convenient. And it was only a 10-15 minute walk to the Christmas Market - so another plus. The room was simple and Spartan, but had... More
