We stayed here for new year and had a very good time. The hotel is located right by the train station and the Altstadt is accessible via a footpath. It is a brisk 10 minute walk to the Marktplatz, and the surroundings are quiet. Found the service excellent. We had a problem with our booking - the website didn't seem... more

Had a four night stay here in December. Booked room using points (points + cash), which was a very good deal considering the weak Canadian dollar. As others have stated, the hotel has an excellent location - a two minute walk from the railway station, and a 15 minute walk to the center of the old, walled city. Room was... more

I stayed at this hotel for approximately 6 months for business and had a lovely stay. In my honest, fair assessment, this is the best hotel in the city - they frequently get celebrity guests (i.e. the Bayern Munich team, Kid Rock, etc.) stay here. My comments are as follows: - As a long-term guest, the staff made an extra... more

Booked 2 days prior got a suite for about EURO 230 a night. Corner room with main bedroom, living room, two bathrooms and wrap around balcony. Clean, in fact immaculate! The staff was very helpful and knew the locations to many attractions and restaurants. Pros: Location. right between the Opera House and the Train Station and three minutes to the... more

Like all Sheraton hotels, you cannot expect anything more than clinical 5 star. This makes a good business hotel and a 5 star hotel that caters for the basic if you are on holiday. You cannot go wrong with this hotel. However, if you are looking for a romantic beautiful experience from staying here, best for you to look elsewhere.... more

I have stayed in this property both on business and for pleasure and would say that it works equally well for both. Stayed in the larger Executive size rooms each time which were well designed, clean and comfortable. For work there is a large desk, and the bed is also very comfortable. The bathroom is also very well designed. The... more

It's just a dull, business oriented hotel. The reception is dull, the room was dull with no view. The gym is a joke, just a small room with a couple of running machines and 1 weights machine. I had no choice but to eat in the restaurant on a... mmm... dull Monday evening. A boring menu in a boring, almost... more

Stayed in the hotel for a long weekend quite unexpectedly as was scheduled to go to Berlin. Easy to find, close to the train station and within walking distance of the old town. The breakfast buffet was indeed good, rooms spacious enough. Only problem with the way rooms with twin beds are organized : too much clogged up space, hit... more

As this hotel has only reopened in early 2006 I think everything is still pretty new and clean. All decorated in the "new" Sheraton style which is quite modern. So if you are looking for some "old german style" hotel, this might not be the place you want to stay at. Rooms are reasonably sized and if they face the... more

Pros: 1. The spa at the hotel is very nice (atmosphere, decor, selection of treatments and HOURS - they open until 10pm!!). I had a facial and a pedicure (ask for Maria) and both treatments were very at par and done well. 2: The room is quite spacious - nice work area and sitting area as well as large bathroom.... more
