Stayed here whilst attending a exposition at the Nuremberg Messe. The city is typically full and expensive during these events but this hotel is in a great location. Easy walk to the Metro link or into the centre (on an evening). Comfortable rooms, good breakfast and fantastic staff. Nice little touches like free local beer tasting in the foyer, complimentary... I have stayed in the Maximilion Hotel many times..... and am always made welcome. The location is quiet, but close to the subway station. Only minutes from the town center. The rooms are large with a small kitchen and a fridge with 2 free beers which are nice to have after a busy day. In room coffee making facilities are... More

Stayed there while attending a show at the Nurnberg Messe. A sinking feeling on arrival that I had visited before was confirmed when I got to the room to be confronted by an admittedly spacious room but one decorated in the 1960's or to be generous maybe the early 70's. No aesthetics or luxurious touches here but to be fair... More

Thanks for the nice review. We may not be the most modern hotel in Nuremberg and may even not have the biggest beds in our single rooms - for the moment! But we certainly got one of the best and friendliest team in the city and now can you imagine: our team and a number of trendy modern single rooms?... More

The Hotel is very clean and all equipments have good quality. Kitchen in the room is really perfect. You can cook all and you can uae microwave. The hotel is vert close to city center. Price is comperable normally but too expensive in fair terms.

Stayed here as a group of 5 adults in 3 separate rooms. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the beds were comfortable and the rooms clean and tidy and the hotel was close enough to the city centre to walk there (although only just). But as we thought we were booking a hotel, we were quite surprised to arrive... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at Derag Livinghotel Maximilian last Friday. The hotel is nice, the rooms are clean and confortable. The location is good, just 15 minutes walk from the city center. The hotel has an underground parking (price: 10 Euro/day), that is very good considering that in the city center of Nürnberg during the Christmas market there are... More

At first, the hotel was full on two of my intended nights, but on my third try they had a single-aparment available for the duration of my whole stay (4nights). Single bed, small apartment, but perfect for me. Breakfast is good. Service is excellent. Room possibly a bit warm (alhough I had the heating set to lowest possbile, it seemed... More

This is a really great hotel for a very affordable price — it's clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and the hotel restaurant is pretty decent. There's free Wi-Fi and it's walking distance from Altstadt, the Nuremberg trials museum, and the main train station, for easy airport access to Frankfurt or Munich. I would recommend it to anyone traveling... More

Very spacious double-storey room with bed on a gallery on a higher level, with balconies at both levels (though the higher balcony is not fully private). Useful kitchenette -- room is designed for longer-term stayers, too (I stayed for 3 nights). Hotel outside Old Town but well-located between two Underground stops, either only a few minutes' walk away. A Lidl... More
