I was worried as we approached the hotel; a small corridor next to an empty shop. The reception by the young lady at reception was also lack lustre. But the room was pleasant and had a large modern, very clean bathroom. Our room faced the square. Motorised industrial cleaners will start making noise down there early in the morning. We... More

The hotel's location was excellent for exploring the city. The hotel was very nice, with a quaint charm. The kids thought the small elevator was fun and was worth having to make a couple extra trips to bring up luggage. The room was large, actually an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room. The room exceeded our... More

The hotel is in a great central location of the city. We were easily able to walk to all of the sights and dining we visited. Staff were very warm and friendly. Our room, with 2 twin beds, was typically small - Americans should be aware of the European room size. The bathroom was very spacious. Wifi was strong. Breakfast... More

My family stayed in the family suite on the top floor of this hotel. It was spacious and clean with slightly dated decor but the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is conveniently situated for walking around Nurnberg's old town and we did not experience any noise disturbance at... More

Can't imagine what is wrong with the 2 previous reviewers. The hotel is beautifully decorated. If you are a modernist, you might call it quaint. Great location, NO trouble whatsoever finding the door, the breakfast is to die for, with a huge variety of choices and all delicious. I recommend requesting a room on the courtyard. If it's hot as... More

Good location in the city center, helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Breakfast just average. The only really bad thing was the noise coming from the street early in the morning. Parking area just nearby.

Very dificult to find the hotel. No sign, no front reception. You have to ring and someone will open the door for you. Then you take a small lift to the reception. Weird. The parking is a public parking place, located 3 blocks away. The room is large, confortable. The bathroom compact . Good location and good breakfast.

This was an excellent hotel which brought one back to the old hotelier days whilst incorporating modern convieniences. The staff gratefully provided special requests and were helpful in local recommendations. The only drawback was the parking situation...the official parking is actually a public parking place approx 3 blocks away, and although, as a guest, one had a hotel ticket, the... More

A truly charming small hotel right in the centre of the historic old town with very friendly and helpful staff. We booked a room for three that comprised a small lounge with low seating, coffee table, desk, spare bed and TV with doors to a bedroom (with two single beds) and bathroom, plus stairs leading up to a very good... We stayed at this lovely hotel for 3 nights last weekend for our wedding anniversary. We were given a very large romantic bedroom with clean bathroom with lots of hot water but no shampoo. Location was ideal; on a quiet street but close to all museums and landmarks; in fact you can walk everywhere apart from the rally grounds which... More
