we have stayed here 4or5 times over the last 15 years and we have always enjoyed it. The location is perfect, right on the edge of the old town. Walking anywhere in the old city is easy, whether up to the castle or over to craft workshops. One of the major shopping areas is right across the street. The breakfast... More

I stayed there in November 2015 for five night. The hotel was very comfy, old style romantic, but very comfortable. Breakfast was nice, I would call it continental ++ and all the surroundings were clean and nicely set. The staff was smily, polite and helpful. This sounds like a bit too much, but I really enjoyed. During my trip I... More

Everything was perfect, from the reception service to breakfast, from the room to extras. I booked a little single room, which is "little" for the German standard but a really nice roon with a big bathroom well refunrnished. The hotel is at walking distance from every tourist attraction. I would advise it especially at Christmas, the atmospheare would be surely... More

Charming small hotel, of "romantic" style. The economy double is in fact quite OK, it faces the backyard so no noise there. Good breakfast, and metro station nearby (2 stops from railway station). You can reach main railstation by foot as well but only provided you are not carrying any luggage. There is no air conditioning in the room, so we... More

I was worried as we approached the hotel; a small corridor next to an empty shop. The reception by the young lady at reception was also lack lustre. But the room was pleasant and had a large modern, very clean bathroom. Our room faced the square. Motorised industrial cleaners will start making noise down there early in the morning. We... More

The hotel's location was excellent for exploring the city. The hotel was very nice, with a quaint charm. The kids thought the small elevator was fun and was worth having to make a couple extra trips to bring up luggage. The room was large, actually an apartment with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a living room. The room exceeded our... More

The hotel is in a great central location of the city. We were easily able to walk to all of the sights and dining we visited. Staff were very warm and friendly. Our room, with 2 twin beds, was typically small - Americans should be aware of the European room size. The bathroom was very spacious. Wifi was strong. Breakfast... More

My family stayed in the family suite on the top floor of this hotel. It was spacious and clean with slightly dated decor but the bathrooms were modern and spotless. The staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was plentiful. The hotel is conveniently situated for walking around Nurnberg's old town and we did not experience any noise disturbance at... More

Can't imagine what is wrong with the 2 previous reviewers. The hotel is beautifully decorated. If you are a modernist, you might call it quaint. Great location, NO trouble whatsoever finding the door, the breakfast is to die for, with a huge variety of choices and all delicious. I recommend requesting a room on the courtyard. If it's hot as... More
