The Ramada Parkhotel is a good corporate establishment, nothing stands out as being especially good or bad, except the reception staff who were very friendly and efficient - lovely people. I have stayed in more characterful hotels in the city but this one is OK if you need to be in the this part of town.

I stayed in this hotel last week and found it to be a comfortable stay. The bedroom was spacious with wonderful comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom.the breakfast was delighful in a lovely breakfast-room.The only negative about this hotel is the distance from the town centre. It took about 30 mins to get into town by walking

We stayed one night there, very good service. Spacious and clean room , nice spa area. Receptionists were very helpful .breakfast was tasty. But the location is not central , you can not walk to the centre . The hotel has its own restaurant as well.

My experience was somehow two-sided: on the one side a 80's style hotel with a lot of concrete on the outside, already a bit mossy and shabby. On the inside rather old furniture, old carpet - everything looks as if a little refurbishment was needed (except the bathroom - that seemed recently refurbished). On the other side: the friendliness of... More

I recently stayed here on business and found the standard was very good. The breakfast was superb. I can speak enough German to get by and found the staff were happy to speak either in English or German to you. Well worth a stay whether on business or a weekend stay.

Very good food options, bar or great restaurant food, especially in the asparagus season :-) ( you will have to check when that is). Good for walking to local landmarks and great local walks or runs on the door step. Easy to get to the Messe also.

We just had two nights in this hotel. Service was excellent, we couldn't fault the cleanliness (and I am extremely fussy) and beds were very comfortable. I must say that Christine, who ran the restaurant was excellent too. A credit to her profession. Thank you very much. Our little boy was quite unwell and we needed to call a doctor,... More

I can only add a few comments to what has already been written by other contributors. This is a fine hotel in all regards. It is a ten minute tram ride from the city center, probably too far to walk. There are really only a few restaurants in the immediate area, however the Italian and German restaurants that the hotel... More

The hotel is a 4 stars too expensive for the provided services. The room is large and the bathroom clean and very good. The sauna and the indoor swimming pool are beautiful but the breakfast is very bad. The receptionist was not kind at all. The location is good if you have a car.

Just returned from 9 days here. As we were arriving late on our first day, I E-mailed ahead to ask if they could keep a quiet room with a park view for us. This is exactly what we got. The room was excellent, with a balcony looking over the park at the rear. Excellent service. The welcome was efficient and... More
