Location is perfect next to the pedestrian walk to the Hauptbahnhof, across the street from the tourist bureau, and next to an area of quaint shops and cafes. The tram across the street will take you around to the north side of town to the Castle. Museums are all in walking distance. Rooms are clean and the staff very helpful.... more

The English-speaking staff were cordial and helpful at this lovely hotel located next to the Frauentor Gate in Nurnberg. This is a slightly deceptive hotel that may appear to be on the budget side but in fact is charming, with comfortable though basic rooms and a very nice breakfast room. more

An exceptional location directly across the street from the Main Hauptbahnhof. Very historic-looking from the outside but completely moderne inside. By "moderne" I also mean a little bit strangely dated as in an early 1980's feel. The room I reserved was unavailable but the substitute had all the necessary, functional features. We had a problem with their computer confirming our reservations which I had forgot about but when we checked in they had noted this and offered one of their junior suite rooms for 10 euros more than our regular hotel room rate.
