The hotel is in a great location, with the river close by. It is within easy walking distance to the old town. In contrast to a recent review bemoaning the lack of restaurants close to the hotel - I couldn't disagree more! There is Mueller's Restaurant on Kepplerstrasse (turn right out of the hotel, first right and bear left. Left... More

The hotel is in a very good location, across from a park and the river, and within easy walking distance to the old town. We found that with the lack of restaurants close to the hotel the walk into the old town resolved this problem. The hotel was very clean, the deluxe room was large with a good size bathroom... More

Superb quiet location, just outside the walls and a 15 minute walk to the old centre. Older building with decent size room, compact but decent bathroom (very clean and with toiletries), good curtains which blacked out, large wall-mounted TV and a mini bar. Large bed with traditional pair of mattresses was quite firm, pillows were German style so flattened down... More

An Art Nouveau building, with very high ceilings and nice windows. Rooms and bathrooms fresh and clean, renovated. Good location, within easy walk of the city walls and the Old Town. Excellent breakfast. Beautiful hallway, but with steps (10?) to negotiate. Not easy for peopele with reduced mobility. Once past the stairs there is a lift to the upper floors.... More

This is a typical garni hotel, with not much style but practical solutions. The rooms are clean and the staff is very helpful. It is located just on the border of the historical city of Nurenberg, at walking distance from all downtown tourist attractions. Parking is an issue, the hotel has only four parking lots, and the number of rooms... More

Great value for the high quality of service and room. Excellent location - very quiet area with good parking yet just a short walk from the centre of town. Provided high quality food and good service at breakfast with a great variety. Bed comfortable and beautiful white linen. Only one little niggle - the towels could have been softer! However... More

It's hard to find reliable WiFi in Germany, but this unassuming hotel kept us connected at no extra charge. And that's not the only reason to stay here--the value is hard to beat. My husband's standard double room, at 96 euros, is big and bright, with high ceilings and a modern bathroom (you may here some creaks from your neighbour... More

My mother, daughter and I just returned from a wonderful weekend at this lovely hotel. We stayed in room 29 (a triple room) - it was spacious, clean and modern and had a fabulous large bathroom. We were made to feel welcome and were given lots of helpful information of the town. Breakfast was excellent. Overall a fantastic weekend. We... More

I stayed in this hotel for the second time, as every year I attend a international trade show in Nuremberg. This hotel is a very good value, featuring excellent service, high quality buffet breakfast, and lots of charm. It is next to a part, providing a quiet and natural atmosphere, yet walkable ( 7 minutes) to the train station and... More

My travel partner and I stayed here in early December in order to check out the Christmas markets. The hotel is well located, about a 10-15 minute easy walk to the Hauptmarkt, and the front desk was very helpful in pointing out locations on a map. Our room (#31) was really big, with two large twin beds side by side... More
