I knew this was going to be awesome when I first entered the lobby! The subtle elegance of it assured me that I would not be disappointed, and I was not. The location rocked! Right across the street from the main train station, and at the entrance to the Old Town.....perfect! An early check-in? Yes, no problem! Painless of course,... more

Got booking through bookinhotels.com at an amazingly low 80 Euros! There is nothing that I can complain about -- amazing location, very helpful staff and the very extensive hot breakfast in the morning (eggs made to order), really ended my stay at the hotel on a very good note. I was surprised to see that the hotel has still not... more

This hotel has the complete package for a discerning traveler: class, quality, service, location, and value. From the moment I entered, it was apparent that this hotel had class, and upon looking about I found this was the case everywhere without exception. The structure, design, and decor throughout were of high quality. The staff was attentive, professional, accommodating, and paid... more

Grand and luxurious. Old-world and historic. It really is grand. Not that it is big; grand as in "grandeur". From the moment you step in through the entrance right across from the train station to when you sit down with a cup of tea in your room, an air of old-world luxury permeates the hotel. There are some oddities. Check... more

This is a good business hotel, very well located in Nuremberg. Rooms are all sound-proof, except those facing the railway station which are noisy because of the trams. Rooms are a bit oldish though, and absoluty avoid the closet-like single rooms. Breakfast buffet is excellent with a huge choice and good quality products. more

The Le Meridien Nurnberg is located right across the street from the train station, subway station and streetcar stops. It is a simple, pleasant walk to shopping and museums. This is an old hotel, beautifully restored, with all the modern conveniences. The rooms and public areas have the spaciousness of another era, (although the lobby is a little cramped.) The... more

Hotel location directly across from the main city gate is excellent. Staff was very good. The hotel itself is "semi-deluxe" with moderate lobby and limited restaurant options. Room was good, as expected from a La Meridien. Booking online, the hotel was a "fair" value but parking and breakfast charges were added that were clearly wrong. We can call this an... more

My husband and I took some time last year deciding on which christmas market/hotel to visit in Germany for Christmas 2008, and after lots of research we took the plunge and booked at the Grand. We were not disappointed, this hotel lived up to all our expectations. It is the perfect location, we arrived by train , walked across to... more

If you are traveling by train, it doesn't get much more convenient than this. Right next to the main train station, you can go out the east exit, down the stairs and back up (to get over the street car tracks) and then across the street. The room was nice and spacious, and neither too warm nor too cold. The... more

I originally booked a room in Furth, a suburb of Nuremberg and then thought better of it and switched to this grande dame just beyond the wall and near the train station when I found a good deal for it on a hotel website. So glad we did. Nuremberg is larger than we remembered and traffic in and out is... more
