This is the third hotel we have stayed at in Europe on our 2 week vacation. The room doesn't have AC- which isn't ideal during July. The staff are nothing but rude. WiFi is not included and breakfast is pricey. decent rooms, but not worth the trouble.

I recently stayed with friends of mine after booking a few weeks in advance through a travel agent. The stay has been great except for the poor service and bad experience on our first night. We booked two double rooms non smoking but on arrival we received two twin rooms smoking with some of the minibar open. The hotel rectified... More

This hotel is situated in a very quite residential area just 5 minutes walk from the old town. Very close to the subway as well. We stayed at this hotel for a whole week and have nothing to complain about. Room very clean and larger than normal. Hotel Staff very friendly. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if... More

The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the old town and is within reach from the town castle. The reception staff was very helpful and kind, but had problems giving the right directions in order to reach the old town without walking for long. The desk staff provides you with a map of the city. if you are... More

Situated in a relatively pleasant city neighborhood, we stayed here for just two nights and had no problems. The staff wasn't quite as personable as our other accommodations for this trip through Germany and Prague but they were plenty helpful. The room was spacious and reasonably clean but it was generally a tad "worn" with some impractical aspects like lack... More

This was the first hotel that my husband and I stayed at in Germany. We weren't sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. As North Americans, we were a little surprised by the bedding (just a comforter in a casing and a mattress cover), but quickly realized... More

We weren't expecting much but to our surprise we found it very clean and comfortable. Nice and calm surroundings. Very close to subway U3. 5 mins from hbf. Walking distance to castle etc. Rooms were spacious enough and clean. Friendly staff. Breakfast was expensive. No point in paying when there is a supermarket very close by (Rewe). Bakery over there... More

Arrived here on the first Friday of December for a weekend of Christmas market festivities. Originally on our booking, we booked a standard double room, when we got to our room, it was a twin. When I went to the reception, the staff were quite apologetic & explained that they didn't have any doubles left so they gave us a... More

Firstly the good points - excellent as only a short walk from the hotel to the market centre (we had come for the Christkind festival), rooms were spacious and the bathroom was off a little entrance cubical into the main bedroom. Warm, clean and serviced daily, with a small stocked fridge. Now the bad points - staff were not as... More
