Friendly hotel with nice clean modern and spacious rooms. Very close to the old town. Free parking if you find the spot if not paid parking nearby. Free breakfast buffet with fresh bread, hot items and real coffee. Overall could not be happier for the price !

We stayed at the Hotel am Farbertor during Easter weekend. The management was friendly and the room was very clean and modern. It was almost impossible to sleep, though. We had a room next to the alley that runs between the hotel and the city wall. Saturday night we had groups of loud drunks pass under our windows in an... More

Spacious room, very clean. Nice, clean bathroom. Great location, walking distance to metro, city centre and shopping. Very helpful staff. Free wifi. Good breakfast selection. I spent a weekend here before attending a business event.

I'll start by saying we did not actually even stay at this hotel. We had booked it through booking.com. Unfortunately due to a lot including a serious illness going on in the build-up to the holiday we cancelled outside their cancellation policy. They refuse to answer any of my emails and the only time I managed to speak to them... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel one night while visiting the Nuremberg Christmas Market. It was a quick 10 minute walk to the market, and we appreciated that the hotel offers discount parking in a nearby garage. The hotel is located just inside the old city walls and is very convenient. Although this hotel doesn't do all of... More

I stayed at this hotel during one of my business trips to Nuremberg for five days in late summer last year. Opted for it due to the more than reasonable price and the vicinity to Nuremberg railway-station. Clean, conveniently located, no-frills, good value for money. The whole place has obviously been refurbished from a former residential building into a hotel,... More

I stayed here for a week in February while attending a trade fair a the Messe. Pluses: - The hotel is impeccably clean - The (very small) staff was friendly and helpful - The location is convenient, about one block from the Opernhaus U-bahn (subway) station, which in turn is one stop from the main train station. From there it's... More

Stayed here for the Toy Fair in January so it's hard to judge on value as the cost was so high at this time of year, that said hotel was good ,friendly helpful staff and nice breakfast. Well located inside the city walls close to centre and very close to the underground station only one stop to the main station. The... More

The hotel was near the main train station, and the hotel receptionist was very kind to recommend us a good German restaurant. The hotel was clean, we booked a double room and we received a triple one (we were very comfortable). The only problem that we had was with the internet, but the receptionist solved it. We recommend this hotel... More

We stayed here both ways on a trip to Vienna and we chose this hotel only because of availability. They even agreed to store one of our bags for four days so we could travel lighter to Vienna. We stayed there in December 2012. There were two of us going down and three going back. We were given two bedroom... More
