The hotel was conveniently located in-front of the East Train/Tube Station. The room is adequately equipped, free flow of non-alcoholic drink is provided. The buffet breakfast was nice and healthy and special menu was also available. The hotel takes care of customers' needs. What amazed me was that I bought some fruit and left them on the table, upon my return... More

Excellent, well managed Hotel located directly opposite the Ostbanhof train station in Munich. Staff were very friendly and full of information. Rooms were large and interesting in that they are decorated in many different styles. Ours was a very cool 70's look. Travel to Central Munich is only a few stops away from the easy to use train system. We... More

Clean rooms, friendly service. WLAn password available upon request. No fridge in room, but free soft drinks available in the lobby. Only (minor) drawback: Room was quite warm although heating was turned off. Might have been dealt with by the staff which we did not bother too call. The hotel is very well situated close to the center of Munich... More

Cordiality of the reception personnel and very nice rooms. Optimal location in Munich city center close to the train and bus station. Very good quality/price ratio. I would suggest this hotel to businessmen but also to tourists who wants to visit Munich!

Clean, modern, superb breakfast, staff are friendly & helpful. Very reasonably priced. Location is perfect. Right across the street from Ostbahnhof station, an easy (10 Euro) train ride to Flughaven Munich, which takes about 30 minutes. Hotel is over 100 years old...but you would never know it. Completely renovated and managed/owned by same family for more than a century.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying i Munich. The service was kind and helpfull. The rooms were tidy, nice and personal with the wallpaper theme. We were there for attending a fair in messehallen, so it was nice to come to the hotel, where the room was cleaned at there was paid attention for detail. For example a... More

Arrived for a one night stay on 28th Feb 2015 before heading off to Austria to ski. Location next to Ost HBF was perfect for our train journey the next morning. Reception staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Stayed in room 101 which was perfect, we loved the contemporary design, especially the colour schemes and artwork. Breakfast was served... We've stayed regularly for fifteen years. The staff know us and are invariably helpful and friendly. The rooms are very good and the wallpaper both in the rooms and in the five storey stairwell is simply stunning. Breakfasts are very good. While there is no restaurant, we find the Gasthof Brunnstein, 100 yards round the corner in Orleans Strasse is... More
