The hotel is good and the breakfast was the highlight (fresh meats, eggs, bread, fruits etc). Upon check in the staff was a bit distant and did not explain pro actively when and where breakfast was or if WIFI was available. I think reception staff should address those things pro-actively. Wifi is included. The room itself is average. It is... More

We enjoyed two nights at this hotel and we found it to be perfect for our requirements. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the extra touches like ready replenishment of toiletries, fruit and chocolates in the room with little welcome messages made us feel valued guests. As a bonus we had the sauna, steam room and fitness room to... More

Exactly as advertised, not lux but it had all of the important amenities and did all of them very well. Competent and friendly staff, convenient parking. Quiet residential area, quite far from the Center. Recommend a car. Good breakfast, but the regular restaurant was closed due renovation, which was somewhat of a negative but there were enough other choices nearby,... More

Stayed 2 nights cause my Husband had to work in Munich. Turned out to be the greatest stay in this cold winter nights. Staffs at the hotel are very friendly and polite from the receptionists and the service. Btw the Breakfast was amazing!! It's totally worth it! Lots of variety of German sausages, cheese and great cornflakes buffet !! The... More

Stayed for 4 nights in December 2014. The room was basic but clean - a few nice touches like fresh fruit and a chocolate each day were good. Breakfast is amazing with a great selection and very good quality. The hotel is in a quiet suburban area which was generally okay for us. There are some downsides though. For us... More

We stayed in December. There were a number of issues, unfortunately .It was advertised as having good connections to the airport- by S-Bahn and bus, it takes about 45 minutes-if you know where you're going. Because you have to get out at an obscure S-Bahn station and change to a bus, and then know where to get off, and the information... More

This hotel does not provide luxury but convenience and charm. Reception is only open until midnight, I did not see any dinner room service menu. But you have all bathroom amenieties, bathrobe, slippers. Towels are small and not fluffy. Tram 16 nearby takes you to the center and you can buy tickets in reception. Breakfast is plentiful and fresh. You... More

This boutique hotel is located 20 minutes away from Munich center in a nice quiet area close to the English Garten where you can enjoy nice walks and bike rides. The hotel is very clean and nicely decorated. The only downside to it is that there's no Air conditioning. We spent 5 nights there in mid August and honestly we... More

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel.. It felt very Bavarian and authentic...catering to a variety of world travelers probably looking for such an atmosphere.. It was in a terrific location with an easy walk to the tram taking you right downtown..The people at the reception were always helpful and courteous. The rooms were very well appointed and welcoming.... More

Really nice hotel with rustic charm; friendly staff, clean rooms, quiet location (we had a room facing the garden). Breakfast well worth the extra €10. Restaurant offers excellent Austrian/German dishes. We loved being close to the river Isar (5 minute walk down the hill) with the popular beergarden Emmeramsmuehle (but the food is better at Freisinger Hof...). It takes about... More
