I was there for a night. When I arrived the only person at the reception couldn't speak a single word of english but, the most serious thing for me was that, despite I was assured when I phoned days before that everything worked, both sauna and swimming pool were out of order! So I paid (more) for a service that... More

A small hotel with familiar atmosphere, in a rural ambiance, but in Munich. By car or by train (municipial railway station 5 min away) you need less than half an hour to the center of the city. The staff is very kind and helpful, they have a good breakfast. The large rooms are comfortable.

The photos and the reviews were great which is why we booked here. It was handy to the station and handy to the city centre. The room appeared to be comfortable but.... the shower was cold but was fixed after one night. The internet never worked so we had no way of making our next hotel booking in Vienna. The... More

We stayed here with our two year old son - with little ones the restrictions of a hotel can be challenging. The Edelweiss is kind of like a serviced apartment yet fir short stays. We had the maisonette room which i highly recommend. With a beautiful big downstairs living area and then stairs up to a sleeping area and bathroom.... More

Edelweiss Park Villa has nice and spacious rooms in local Bavarian style. The breakfast buffet offers a good variety. Local train station is within walking distance. Unfortunately the owners were not present during our 3-day visit. The room service was very poor. The bathroom was not cleaned at all, towels were not changed. Also some fixtures and lights were broken... More

The pictures on the website do not do the place justice. It appears to be a renovated house, beautifully decorated. We stayed in room 4, which is considered one of their gallery rooms. It's a large living room and the bed and bathroom are in a loft. The bathroom had a shower and a separate bathtub, which was nice. It... More

I was visiting my friend in Munich for 5 days and he got me a room in this place. He could not have gotten anything better. The place is in a quiet location yet perfectly located about 2 blocks from the train station to go anywhere in Munich (especially for Oktoberfest). The owner Fred is super friendly, speaks fluent english,... More
