If you want a central location, clean rooms at a good price with breakfast and wifi included, you cannot beat this hotel. Rooms are not huge and expect some noise from the street, but I still have not hesitation in recommending this as a place to stay. I was visiting for a conference and the conference centre is just along... More

This gem is a very short walk from the main train station. Our room was spotless and quiet. Yes, it had its own toilet and shower. The breakfast room served the usual great German breakfast . In 10 minutes you could walk to the heart of the city....Marian Platz to see the world famous glockenspiel. We also used the handy... More

You are landing in Munich, getting your train to Munich Hbf located at the very center of the city, crossing the road - and that's all you need to fill yourself at home. The room was clean and not too small, the free Internet connection in the room was Okay most of the time - try to reconnect if any... More

Had three nights at this hotel, the location is fantastic, 500m from the main railway station, 2 minutes walk from the centre city, trams, hop on hop off bus and train stations. Many restaurants just downstairs at the front of hotel. Internet isn't great, slow and had to ask for more than one pass key for iPad and phone. Afternoon... More

We have used Luitpold Hotel on many occasions. It is very well located only five minutes walk from the main railway station and airport bus stop. Rooms are small but efficient and very clean. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast, served from 7am to 10am, is good. What more does a traveler want? Price is very reasonable for the city... More

First the good news - nice clean rooms, comfy beds, and GREAT location - right next to the central train station and with great access to busses, trams, and subways. Great coffee in the free breakfast. Oh yeah, the price was cheap! Now the bad news - the Internet is very slow (see results), and they have no AC, so... More

The rooms are fairly clean. The carpets in our room were a bit shabby though. The breakfast is also ok. the desk staff is less than warm for the most part and my wife felt slighted by at least one of them as she does not speak German. I would tell people it is a good central location and will... More

This is an extremely central hotel right next to the central station in Munich. Literally one minute walk from the station to this hotel. All the city sights of Munich are within walking distance from this location. The rooms are of standard quality, fairly small, but are standard for this category throughout Europe. Bathrooms are simple yet clean, however the... More

Room in Bavarion decors was very adequate, clean and quiet (with window closed), and the bathroom tastefully renovated. Definitely not too small. Good breakfast with quick and friednly service in pleasantly appointed breakfast room. As with most hotels in Germany in this price category, there is no mechanical ventilation (or AC) of the room - but opening the windows is... More

The location of this hotel is just excellent. It's just 3 mins away from the munich main station (müchen hbt) and 1 min away from the underground exit. I walked to various touristy spots most of the time and it took me just 10 mins to go to the centre, where the new town hall (Neues Rathaus) and marienplatz are.... More
