Bedroom clean, breakfast O.K. and very kind receptionists. It's close to the central station, just less than ten minutes walking. Near it, there are the National Theatre and a lot of restaurants. The temperature at the hotel in winter was very comfortable. There are bedrooms with views to Goethestrasse.

We stayed here for 3 nights before travelling to Bamberg. It's good for us very accessible to Central station just 5 minute walk. Our room was ok, clean and food was good, plenty of choices. The only downside was the wifi. The only place to get a good connection was at the reception area. So we have to stay there... More

Hotel is 5min walk from the central station and about 20min walk to the city center. Breakfast is included and is very simple. Beds are surprisingly comfortable, but the bathroom is small. Bathroom shower is very small and is very hard to fit in, even for thinner people. All in all, decent place if you are not searching for luxury... More

Its one if the pathetic hotels I have ever been to. Everything about this hotel is bad. The hotel is owned by a Turkish man so the interiors of the hotel reflect a lot of that. The reception people are very rude to talk to especially the owner himself. He shouts to the customer and humiliates them. The rooms are... More

The hotel is in a shady street, the building (not the rooms) are cold and it looks a bit old. But the beds are really nice, big comfy duvets and good wifi. With the right price I would choose it again.

terrible service which is really a shame as the rooms were pretty nice and modern. they are doing a lot of renovating which means that it is pretty noisy and unfortunately...they are missing some details. we booked a three bedroom suite and two of the bedrooms had broken windows.. well, windows with no handles. since there was no handle, you... Stayed at the Hotel early November for 3 nights in the New Wing. There is also an elevator. The Room was very comfortable although with a double bed somewhat smaller than normal. Wi Fi available only in the Reception. The Breakfast spread was well supplemented with Turkish Tea -- a delight. Conveniently located only a block and a half from... More

I and my friends have just spent 3 nights at the Hotel Goethe. I confess after having made my reservation and having read the reviews here I was dreading my stay. However I returned home having had a brilliant few days in Munich and surrounding towns. The hotel is not bad at all. We had room 202, a three bedded... More

I've stayed in many hotels in many different countries, and while this hotel is not the absolute worse, it certainly is in the bottom five. First, as other reviews have stated, this hotel is under construction and the noise is constant. There were even construction workers trying to get into my room while I was in there. My room was...
