Very basic, cot beds, no tea or coffee facilities, get to breakfast very early as there is not much on offer. Close to train station. Would not recommend it. more

Tiny douple room and a narrow bed, the one sleeping next to the wall had to climb over the other one. Bathroom damp. Breakfast good. Price during the Octoberfest (about 170 e/night) high compared to the quality of the hotel and size of the room. The location was good, direct S-Bahn (S1 or S8) to the airport. more

We all were waiting for the worst, because of the cheap prize for the night, 49 euros per room. But our two rooms were very clean and decoration was actually quite nice, modern. Double-bed room was pretty small but the room with two separated beds was big and comfortable. And the breakfeast is including the prize! There was Rewe nearby... more

This hotel is located quite a way out of the centre of Munich and requires a tram or cab ride into the city. From the outside it looks like an office block and when you enter the building it seems to be the lobby of an apartment block. Yp a couple of flights of stairs (or in the lift) and... more

The building looks ugly from the outside, but the rooms are small, basic, functional, and good value. The free reliable wireless internet connection and the free breakfasts were good points. The hotel's location is a bit far from the city centre but it's only about a 15 minute train ride from the Laim S-Bahn station - right across the road.... more

We came to Munich for a long weekend and to see the Xmas Markets. This hotel has some good and bad points. The hotel is family run and they were very helpful. I did a lot of searching and it's quite cheap for Munich. That being said, the rooms are nothing amazing, but they're clean and functional. I had no... more

First of all - this is really a bargain for Munich - it costs only about 50 € and is just beside a S-Bahn-Station very good. The rooms are very (very!!!) small, but clean and have free WLAN and a small Flat-TV. the only thing I really did not like was the bathroom. Mine just looked very sticky and broken.... more

The room we got in the Tessin hotel looked much more like and old guest room in the house of an older aunt than a hotel room itself. Decoration was awfull and the room looked very old. Nevertheless, everythin a simple hotel room needs was available: small but functional bathroom with a shower, cable TV, heater, etc. Staff was very... more

After 3 months of traveling Europe, we found Hotel Tessin a wonderful introduction to Germany. It is by far the best 3 star Hotel we have stayed in due to: a) the wonderful Staff b) the great location - so close to public transport. The breakfasts we plentiful and the rooms were simple, but all you needed to sleep and... more
