I stayed here Dec. 16-22, 2011. Excellent staff, especially Ricardo, shift manager? I encountered a few obstacles with my debit/credit cards upon arrival. I took exception to the fact Ricardo stated he could exchange my money to Euros but it would be cheaper to go to the bank across the street. He could have easily taken advantage of the situation.... Rooms was fantastic , breakfast was amazing with a lot of choice

Slightly strange location near the Hauptbahnhof - central but in red light district! The rooms are a good size and the hotel itself is relatively quiet. Food is good - only ate breakfast there but very generous array of British & continental options on a buffet.

Schwanthaler Strasse, heck, most everything just south of the Munich Hautbanhopf is on the sleazy side. "Erotika" shops, down-end hotels, etc. Not threatening, by any means. But it isn't Park Avenue. Hotel rooms were very clean, I have always had good luck with Marriott's and choose them over most other brands.. also centrally located and about a 10 minute walk to most sights..Mirabel is quite a walk so take a cab.
