This hotel is very central. It is minutes from the station and many places of interest, shops, restaurants, Xmas markets are a few minutes walk away. As is the case with many areas close to central stations, there is an 'adult' flavour in this area. The gay area is nearby too. The hotel is reasonably priced, offers a decent breakfast... More

Ranked 358 out of 380 hotels in Munich I just read - Well I would hate to see the 32 establishments worse than this! If you read other reviews I've done I am never negative and don't like to criticise but unfortunately there is no saving grace for Hotel Daheim. Positives first. 1) Easy 2 minute walk from main Munich... More

Very basic hotel with absolutely no facilities. Simply dreadful. My travel companion thought we were booking into a hostel. People came and went in the night. Apart from the man who checked us in everyone else was miserable and didn't speak. Breakfast was minimal. They charged euro 99 per night ! Just because it was a Electronica week. I was... More

It was located close the the HBF but it was on a street with many bars, strip joints and casino's. We were kept awake late by loud music and bad smells, the floor of our room even sloped over to one end (so badly one of us slipped over). I suggest if you have 100 euro to spend on a... More

This place is at best a hostel - and a not so nice one at that. It is in a seedy part of town with table dancing bars and drug cafes all around and it is really old and not well maintained or managed. The room had very bad lighting and cigarette smoke pervaded the whole building. On our last... More

Okay I notice someone said it is not in the red light district, and it probably isn't, BUT it is DEFINITELY in a very seedy area, the building behind, the building opposite us in the lane AND the building diagonal from us are ALL table top dancing. You work it out. I am looking out the window at a sign... More

We stayed there for 3 nights. When we entered the hotel there was no receptionist to assist us and the a girl came from the bathroom she was doing her make up and gave us a really bad room with the toilet and shower open in the room and the area is really really bad with fights and dangerous people... This Hotel is NOT in a Red Light Area ! If you believe that then you have no idea of what a red light area is ! Yes the hotel is old and the fittings are not ultra modern, what do you expect for a very cheap price in a major city centre ? The staff ARE very helpful and... More

I need to congratulate Hotel Daheim for offering me the worst hotel experience ever! I travel quite a lot but never seen as terrible quality as at Hotel Daheim. The property is in bad condition, no service at all, staff is even mean to the guests. The place should be closed! Location at the middle of Munchen red light district... More

I visited munich many time and i know the price ranges and best location but rhe city was crowded because of an exhibition so most of the good hotels were booked. This is a nightmare NO INTERNET in 2014!!, the beds were not comfortable, the breakfast was very poor, it is very expensive compared to its price. I will never... More
