After one of the quickest checkin I ever experienced, I was shown a huge and comfortable room on the second floor. Bathroom and beds were absolutely stunningly clean and perfect! I can only recommend sleeping here while being in the metropolitain area of Munich. Staff and service are very helpful and polite. The breakfast was also extremely nice with a... More

This was a beautiful hotel and was so happy to stay here (in July 2010). There is a train to Dachau not far from the hotel, the Nymphenburg Schloss is a half hour walk from here and there's a cute little street called Verdi Strasse that has a wonderful restaurant called Verdi Restaurant that is exquisite with great service and... A friend booked this hotel for us because the other one we wanted to stay in was full. What a surprise! We didn't expect it to be so nice but it was very nice and reasonably priced. We were also traveling with a dog and he was well accommodated too. The staff was great and very helpful. The room we... More

This was my first trip to Germany ( or Europe generally for that matter ) and I was joined by my elderly mother and two sisters. We chose to visit Munich and the Bavarian Alps, had a fabulous time and a big part of it was starting our stay at the Amalienburg. The hotel is very charming, with a family... More

I had to stay at this hotel at the last minute on a school/leisure trip to Munich. They are somewhat removed from downtown Munchen - at least a few miles. Check in was easy and they do have free wi-fi which is a plus. However, they charge 5 euros for breakfast which is a negative. The rooms do have a... More

This hotel was a great pick for our quick holidays! We had a wonderful night in Munich, explored some clubs and still were home in around 20 minutes with the so called 'S-bahn'. It was very clean, the front-office staff was very cool and funny and were almost ready to go out with us too! But they were never un-professional... More

Double bed was two beds joined up and not even sheeted together, pillows were useless may aswell be just pillow cases. No air-con and costs 99 euros!? Staff friendly and gave discount but expected more from the room. Feels more like a motorway motel than a three star hotel.

We went there in May, we experienced a comfy weather with warm temperatures and enough sun to explore Munich and the close area around the "Nymphenburger Castle". The Checkin was easy and quick, the rooms were brighter and more comfortable as we thought. The service of this smaller hotel was really amazing. Everything we've asked for or needed was taken...
