The hotel is clean and modern, but the location is a bit seedy next to casino and strip joints. There wasn't an air conditioner as far as we could see, so opening the window was a must, which brought on the street noise. The staff was ok, not the friendliest though.

If you aren't looking for a fancy hotel with all the bells and whistles, but rather a clean, comfortable, and affordable hotel within walking distance to many sites, this is the hotel for you. The location is great - down the street from the main train station (about 400-500 meters) and an additional 400ish meters from there to Karlsplatz (start... More

Stayed 2 nights in Augusten Munich in May 2014. I particularly love the location of this hotel. Accessible on foot to major tourist attractions, shoppings, as well as central train station. Nice clean room, not big but not too small. Hotel condition was very new and nice decoration and good bed (not to mention that I hate the pillows in... More

The hotel is located really nicely near the railway station. The rooms are very clean, modern and quiet. The prices does not usually include breakfast but there are plenty restaurants near by since this hotel is in the center of Munich. My room was facing inner yard so it was quiet.

We had a very pleasant stay (3 nights) at the Augusten Hotel. Friendly staff, nice room (No. 508, 5th floor) and a central location made it a perfect weekend getaway. One hint though: if breakfast isn't included in your rates, don't bother paying the extra 10 Euros and try Wörners Café (www.woerners.de/herzogspitalstr) instead.

We recently stayed at Augusten Hotel for 6 nights. We had booked a month in advance and I had actually called the hotel, before booking online, to confirm they had air-conditioned rooms available for the entire duration of our stay. We even had an email confirmation for the same, but when we checked in, we discovered that there was no... More

I was for 3 days in the Hotel and I was robbed in the room. Someone with access to the room opened the suitcase and robbed Rayban sunglasses and silver jewery that where in a lock suitcase (the small security box was filled up with other items). When I complain to the manager the person said that they did not... More

The location is excellent and the room price is reasonable. However, I did not appreciate having to pay an extra 29 euro to check in early, especially when the room was available and already made up. The accommodation is very modern and clean. The breakfast is quite adequate for 10 euro per day though lacks variety if you stay there... More

We are family of three person, the hotel is new, the twin room is too small for three beds, bathroom with only shower, shower gel used but the cleaner did not change, we have to ask by ourself for a new one and changed by ourself.....unbelievable!
