Stayed here in August 2008. This hotel does not deserve the NH ownership: Bad points: The room we stayed in (810) was really dirty not dusted in weeks. Bathroom updated but in general from the late 80s (plastic cistern) lack of illumination, dirty. Air conditioner terrible producing awful odours. Stayed here based on the fact that this place is located across the street from the train station. Room size is good, elevators seemed slow, but other than that, it was fine. This hotel cost us only about euro 100. It is a soul-less 1960s' building right next to the Hauptbahnhof that has been renovated. The rooms as clean and functional and the access is good, with trams, underground and trains within 2 minute's walk, which was essential given the sub-zero temperatures. We stayed three nights. First room on top floor too small to feel comfortable. Second room bigger but filthy and horribly decorated. Rude non-helpful staff. I would strongly recommend to avoid this hotel. more
