We have been travelling for 10 months around Europe and were shocked not only by the price but also that the toilets were not clean (i.e. dust on top of the toilet blocks so thick it was obvious that they were only cleaning the floors) and you had to pay for a shower! This was not explained when we checked... More

Okay so im not one to write reviews but after hearing any negativity at all about this company I had to. I stayed with stoke travel for Oktoberfest the last weekend. I was nervous at first, but the minute we got there we got right in line for check in and they already brought us a free beer. Check in... More

Start with the good things. There is bus right at the camping ground what takes you to the tramp. But the last bus is running after 8PM. If you don't catch it you'll have to walk almost 20 minutes in dark. Now the toilets have no seats means you need to get comfortable with putting your butt on the ceramic.... More

You have to bring the bare essentials yourself like...toilet roll. You can purchase this at the shop. The bar was pretty good and I met some nice people there. The grass was fine it wasn't muddy or wrecked. There wasn't enough showers, but they showers and the toilet facilities they had were alright, they didn't have any toilet seats though,... More

Stayed here for Oktoberfest via Pillow Adventures with 3 friends in our late 20's. Pillow made it sound quite luxury but when we arrived we were quite shocked.... there tents were so close together we could hear everything and there was meant to be an 11am curfew but no one put this into place. and the Pillow reps knew nothing... Stayed with busabout in thalkirchen campingplatz, toilets and showers were filthy and rarely cleaned, the reception were extremely unhelpful, even when money was offered to call a cab, security were sketchy bikies, all in all i'd advise against camping i felt as though i was in a 3rd world country. Never again.

Camped here for Oktoberfest with Busabout. The bathrooms are cleaned once daily which is great, there's a store, market, canteen & laundry with atm as well Only downside is we had to pay for everything (.50 for toilet paper, 1.50€ for hot water etc) but I guess it all goes to maintaining the facilities. Reception staff are helpful & you... More

This campsite is very centrally located in Munich and also very close to public transport. The zoo is a 10 min walk awaay so it's very convenient for tourists. You have to pay for hot water and internet is available at the reception. The camp sites are very free form but there are plenty of options to choose from. The... More

This campsite is very central. They have a FREE shuttle bus to the train then it's only 8 stops to the centre of Munch. Great size pitches, great facilities and reasonably cheap at only €23 for a campervan and two adults. However you have to pay for water = €2 for 100litre. Wifi is €1 for half an hour and... More

Arrived late on June 29 2014 by bicycles in the rain. Man at desk insisted on taking and keeping a passport as part of their system. We offered to give them a card instead with our name on it but he refused and told us to leave if we didn't hand over the passport. In the end we reluctantly gave... More
